Dear Friends,

I'm here in Frankfurt, Germany putting together the offices & website for
FREE MANIFESTA which opens NEXT FRIDAY, MAY 24.  Everthing is going
beautifully, and I think it's going to be great.

To all of you who have already entered, thank you.  I'm working hard to get
as many artists pages as possible up by opening day.  For everyone else who
is thinking of participating but hasn't put in an entry form, I'd like to
encourage you to email me and confirm your plans, or fill out the entry form
asap, so that your name can be part of the artists list for the opening.  Of
course entries will be continue to be accepted through the end of June.

For anyone thinking of coming to Frankfurt, please do!  I'll be here through
the end of July, keeping office hours at the FM headquarters (located in the
ground floor of the Frankenfurter Kunstverein -- directions and map on the
website).  There's space at the headquarters to hang out & have coffee or
beer while you're here.  I hear flights are very cheap to London right now,
and the best deals direct to Frankfurt seem to be on Singapore airlines.
Documenta in Kassel is a quick train ride away, and the Eva Hesse show will
also be opening nearby in Weisbadden.  There's some Franfurt travel info on
the site.

And please feel free to pass on the call to artists to anyone you think
might be interesting and interested.
