It will be very important to have your work on the 2002 event.This is our third event with this kind of approach (internet and mutimedia, interactive works only) in Sao Paulo.The festival is open to international new projects, and it will have a selection. The invited works are result from a deep research that the organizers have done on the web and through this research we found out the importance to have references showing during the festival, it would be great to show your piece too. The invited works will be showing in a special room as a (projection and individual computers)and The works will refers to a certain context, as (webart, webdesign,VRML...). The festival name is F I L E (festival internacional de linguagem eletronica) . Please take a look to the F I L E website http://www.file.org.br, you can view the works from FILE 2000/2001. The festival 2002 will be accumulate to the 2000/2001 edition and so on.... and it always have a special section to the invited works. What we will need from you is to have a copy of the work in a hard digital support, this is for our show offline.Unfortunately we can not count always with a good connection, so we will need to install the works in the machines to make sure that everything will be able to be accessed. At the moment we can not afford to bring all the artists But it would be a pleasure to have you here. This year we will aslo have a FILE Symposium, where people can come to meet each other and exchange ideas, we are planing also workshops during the event.The festival will take place at Pao das Artes a space for contemporary art in the city of Sao Paulo, from August 8th to august 22th. Your work would be a very rich contribution for the F I L E-2002 . We do need this informations before April 10th- as we rae planing a catalogue.
